I finally managed to organise a shoot near Leeds with Liam James. We went to a forested area that wasn't open to the public (a bit naughty but at least we would be unlikely to be disturbed). During the shoot we could here the clay pigeon shooting off in the distance somewhere and about half way through the shoot we were suddenly surrounded by a group of deer runnong through the forest and right through our location! They definitely weren't bothered by us at all.
The location was pretty good with plenty of texture and foliage to shoot against. I also had my Infra Red camera with me and some of these images were shot with that camera. The main set of images were processed in colour and changed to B&W
Let me know what you think of the images.
The colour images have been transferred to Black and White simply because that fits my aesthetic better than colour ...
However, sometimes colour works every bit as well ...
I think that you can see from this set of images that Liam was very keen to try out ideas and worked hard to achieve the poses that I had in mind. A great shoot all in all, and made extra special by the appearance of the deer part way through.
