Infra Red on the hottest day of the year

I had a shoot arranged with Alan on what turned out to be the hottest day of the year. The weather was bright blue skies and harsh sunshine, - difficult contrasty conditions for photography, but ideal for infra red images and even better with the mare's tail clouds.

We met in a tiny hamlet deep in the Northumrian hills and wandered up the hill behind the church to find a spot to work
